Rocket Rockers was born in 1998 with initial name Immorality President (Word guitar / voc, Aska guitar / voc, Bisma bass / voc, Doni drums), but the name was only running about 1 year only, because the vocalist who first came out for one reason or another things. So in 1999 the personnel are still looking for a vocalist, and eventually they get someone who named Ucay who had just come out of the skate rock band predecessor New Kicks On The Board. After Ucay entered, the name changed to Immorality President Rocket Rockers considering making a new image is more fresh. Rockers Rocket created with initial formation: (Aska guitar / voc, Ucay vocals, Bhishma bass / voc, Doni drums). With the formation of four personnel, Rocket Rockers start from the bottom. Being a band seleksian to get onstage, became the most memorable, where they feel the toil hard to get a stage in the town itself Bandung. In August 2002 Rocket Rockers finally released his first album which bertitle "Soundtrack For Your Life" under the indie label Off The Records. Album "Soundtrack For Your Life" is getting tremendous response from various circles. Until one day, single track "Finishkan" became No.1 in the charts a few weeks of indie Radio Geronimo. Various news media predicted cetakpun Rocket Rockers become "The Next Big Thing" (Hard Act To Follow Next Year) along with Superman Is Dead, The White Stripes, The Hives and The Vines Magazine HAI No.45 November 11, 2002 -.
